To oversee and manage strategic governance for sourcing, including insourcing and outsourcing activities, encompassing cloud outsourcing and vendor enlistment. This involves conducting due diligence to mitigate third-party sourcing risks, ensuring adherence to bank policies, regulatory guidelines, and cost-effective, ethical practices.

Key responsibilities encompass formulating strategies, negotiating third-party agreements, and facilitating communication between UD, third-party service providers, and legal.

  • Manage bank-wide insourcing and outsourcing activities, including cloud outsourcing.
  • Periodically update and maintain data.
  • Ensure timely compliance with regulatory requirements and reporting.
  • Supervise vendor due diligence and enlistment across the bank.
  • Introduce potential vendors with key information.
  • Implement cost-effective controls, bank policies, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Foster positive relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Maintain and present MIS of vendor-related information to department heads.
  • Implement vendor management strategy in collaboration with UD, legal, and user departments.
  • Liaise with units for third-party supplier due diligence.
  • Develop relationships with vendors, business and IT executives, and industry peers.
  • Establish an approved enterprise-wide vendor database and tracking system.
  • Collaborate with vendors on scorecards and strategic reviews.
  • Hold vendors accountable to established performance metrics.
  • Create improvement plans, resolve disputes, and ensure ongoing due diligence.
  • Promote a culture of risk and compliance management.
  • Assist legal in various agreements and terms.
  • Collaborate with shared services groups for contract development.
  • Act as a point of contact for contractual matters between suppliers and legal.
  • Provide guidance on contract matters and train project managers and staff.
  • Develop and implement contract management procedures.
  • Ensure visibility and awareness of signed contracts among relevant parties.
  • Handle ongoing issues and change management.
  • Develop, maintain, and enforce service level agreements.
  • Follow a defined sourcing methodology for accountability and control.
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Liaise with the legal department for agreement vetting.
  • Ensure timely renewal of all agreements and escalate delays as needed.
  • Ensure regular liaison between Sourcing and Compliance
  • Ensure periodic liaison with Risk team for KRIs and RCSA activities.
  • Coordination with IAD for various timely closures and reviews.
